Daily Cravings: Lemon Butter Roasted Chicken

Last year for my birthday my mother gave me a wonderful cookbook called "A Bird in the Oven." It;s full of crazy delicious chicken recipes - and so far my favorite is the Lemon Butter Roasted Chicken.

 Halfway done! Time to squeeze the lemon juice on and turn the bird.

Finished bird! For even more bird excitement, use the pan drippings and half a cup of chicken broth to create a pan sauce to pour over your meal!

Growing up I was all about tennis shoes and my cleats. I had soccer cleats, golf cleats, running shoes, and even shoes that were the colors of my alma mater. I've always had a special place in my heart for shoes, but now I've moved on to some a little more fashionable. I bought these beauties today and I can't wait to wear them out!

Daily Cravings: Shorts

Shorts. I'm all about shorts right now. Patterns, loud colors, chambray, distressed, classic, you name it I want it. I spent most of my formitive years in a uniform, and when I wasn't wearing that I was in shorts. I lived in my athletic shorts; partly because it was summer and partly because I find shorts to be the most comfortable thing to wear. EVER. Here are a few of the shorts that I have...some are old friends and some are brand new and I can't wait to wear them!
